About us
At High Voltage Support we help neurodiverse young people, especially those with autism, ADHD and AuDHD, build confidence, skills and community through interest lead, creativity and hands-on projects.
We are not a therapeutic service and we do not provide therapy. Instead, we partner with leading psychologists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists who trust our programs and often work alongside us. This helps ensure young people have a consistent and well-supported environment in all areas of their life.
Our role is to meet young people where they are by following their interests to help them grow through creative pathways, social engagement and practical skill-building.
A core part of our approach is flexibility - their timeline is entirely their own, no matter where their interests lead them our programs are built to harness their motivation and build their skills as they find their own unique pathway.
A young person might begin with scriptwriting, turn that story into concept art, develop characters, then move into world-building, animation, coding or game design. There is no rigid track and no monotony. Their pathway expands as their curiosity and motivation grow.
This approach allows young people to develop:
- Social confidence and communication
- Creative expression including writing, art, design and storytelling
- Technical skills such as coding, editing, game development and digital media
- Teamwork, planning and problem-solving
- A deeper sense of capability, identity and direction
Many neurodivergent young people spend years feeling out of sync with the rest of the world. Here, they find peers who think like they do, mentors who understand them and a community where they can finally say “These are my people.”
We host an online community that is open to all of our participants. Through spaces such as our Discord server, young people can share their work, ask questions, celebrate wins and stay connected between sessions. This provides an important way for rural and regional young people to find their people and be part of a supportive community, even if they are not close to our physical locations.
We also run in-person community days at our partnered venues. These events give young people the chance to meet face to face, build friendships, collaborate on projects and feel part of something bigger than themselves.
Parents regularly tell us that their child finally feels understood and motivated to show up.
That is why we exist. To give young people a place to connect, to grow, to create, and to genuinely belong.
If you would like help choosing the right pathway for your child, we are always happy to chat.

Pre Covid my profession was in the creative arts; Working on filmset as an actor (Netflix and Channel 10) or playing music around QLD in bands. I am diagnosed with ME/CFS so physical balance, burnout and rest was forced to become an essential part of my life, helping me come to terms with my neurodiversity. Through my understanding of character development, storytelling and sub text my skillset has helped participants for the last few years understand who they are; who they want to be; and what it takes to get there.

I've always believed that gaming is one of the most powerful tools we have, not just for entertainment, but for connection, creativity, and confidence-building. It's where problem-solving meets storytelling, where strategy meets social skills, and for so many neurodivergent individuals, it's a space where they feel seen, capable, and in control. That's what excites me most: the opportunity to take something I grew up with and turn it into something meaningful. From my perspective, the gaming world isn't just entertainment, it's the perfect vessel for purpose-driven work. I'm deeply committed to building programs, partnerships, and pathways that empower the neurodiverse community through tech, play, and creative learning. Whether I'm leading a brand strategy or forging a new collaboration, everything I do is rooted in this belief: that when we meet people where they are, in spaces they already love, we can help them thrive in ways that are truly life-changing.
